Who Is My Neighbor?

Producer: Mona Yeh

Gabriel Teodros and Carla Saulter are Seattle-born bus companions. They watch as their city changes over time. We’ll ride a bus with Gabriel and Carla through the now gentrified Central District. Before the last decade of the business boom, the neighborhood was known affectionately as the CD to the many black residents who once called it home. Gabriel and Carla reflect on their personal histories, change, and what makes a healthy community in the CD.
